April Obermann

April earned her BA in Sociology with a minor in Social Justice from UNI. Her experience at George’s Local sparked a lasting passion for connecting with people — a passion that continues to guide her work today. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and friends, watching movies, playing board games and enjoying the outdoors.

My passion for engaging with people led me from the hospitality industry into the nonprofit sector, where I’m thrilled to collaborate with volunteers and community partners.
