The House of Hope is a Christian based
ministry that aligns with the Christian Community Development's mission
and vision that uses a wholisitc approach to deal with the spiritual,
social, economical, political, emotional, physical, moral, judicial,
educational, and familial issues of each person
Christian Community Development (CCD)
is an interdenominational, nonprofit organization whose purpose is to
identify and meet the social needs of a community.
The House of Hope provides a two year
enrichment program for homeless women with children that
gives them the needed tools to become self-sustaining members of
society. Our program helps each woman identify and accomplish
individualized goals, that creates a safe and stable home life for her
and her children. One aspect of this is acheived through
continuing education and/or obtaining permanent full-time employment.
The women learn many skills intended to create a positive future for
them and their family.
CCD Statement of Faith: The Lord Jesus Christ, God's son, redeems us
through His death and resurrection and empowers us by the Holy Spirit.
The Bible is God's word and through it we are called to live out
justice, reconcilliation, and redemption. The church nurtures
God's
people gathered in a community to carry out God's word.
